The Kokopelli Cafe

It is a family tradition to go out for breakfast on Mom's birthday. However, due to the recent unfortunate events over breakfast at the White Spot (no pictures posted for obvious reasons), we will not be going out for breakfast again for several years.
So, today we had breakfast at home and then went out for coffee at Oliver's favorite watering hole: the Kokopelli Cafe. They have a great play area where the kids can fight over toys while their exhausted parents fuel up on strong coffee and sugary snacks nearby.

Oliver's close encounter with a pink balloon-sword was not pleasant. He was terrified of it!

Oliver went up to the window of the latte truck, pointed, and then made the sign for milk (like hand squeezing an udder)! Maybe he wanted a 'tall half sweet vanilla skinny decaf latte, no-foam extra hot', like his mom usually gets at Starbucks. But the sign for that must be complicated!

"These boots are too hot!", said Ollie

We had a wonderful weekend! Here it is in pictures...

Oliver takes great pleasure in his newfound skill of taking off his shoes and socks! Now, if only we could teach him how to put them back on again...
