Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Grandma and Grandpa came over to stay with Oliver this weekend, while his parents went to Seattle for a little Christmas shopping. We asked Jude and Bill to take some pictures, and we have plenty of evidence of indulgence!!! Apparently, Oliver enjoyed cinnamon bun, coffee, and lots and lots of chicken (even he seems surprised at the size of his belly after all this feasting). He even played video-games with Grandpa! Obviously, Oliver had the most wonderful weekend ever!

Oliver adores his "Papa" with a fervour that is difficult to explain but astonishing and heartwarming to witness! Grandpa is a never-ending source of jokes, games and puzzles.

Oliver was delighted with the installation of the Christmas lights. He stood on the couch, wide-eyed, and kept muttering "WOW!" Grandpa took him out into the rain to take a closer look.

Christina stepped out of the room for a minute, and when she returned, Oliver had knocked over a vase of flowers. He was standing in a puddle, looking mortified! He enthusiastically participated in the clean up...





Oliver REALLY likes to sweep. He must get this trait from his dad...

Oliver joined his mum in the garden on the most beautiful fall day. They planted about 7 dozen bulbs together! Oliver enjoyed tossing each bulb into its hole, and would mutter "pat-pat-pat" as he smoothed the soil afterwards.
